Fatih studied psychology at the University of Leiden. After graduating, he started working at the Leiden University. He is a psychologist NIP, internship supervisor for masters students, assists in research and is responsible for bachelor students writing their thesis.
Fatih knows like no other what a good supervisor can mean for a student. During his master thesis, Fatih was supervised by Mitch van Geel. The tutoring he received from Mitch has created quite a stir within him; dormant potential was fueled and in 2013 Fatih’s master thesis was awarded by the Dutch Institute of Psychologists as the best dissertation in the field of diversity. Mitch was nominated for best supervisor of the year 2015.
Since graduation, Fatih has been working under the supervision of Mitch and tries to assist students with the same devotion and to fuel their dormant potential. Positive reinforcement, motivation, commitment and, above all, belief in students ensure that students thrive and write good theses. Of the 40 students who Fatih has tutored, the recent years, 38 students completed their thesis successfully.
